Hiraeth was recorded over a year and half in a variety of locations around so-called "British Columbia" on unceded Secwepmc, Lekwungen, Sinixt, Paachedaht and Sto:lo territory. On mountains, ferries, in forests and beside rivers, in basements and the middle of a shopping mall. Recorded entirely with a Zoom H4n, the quality isn't always the best, but it was an experiment, and a starting point for what will hopefully be a long-lived and unique project and exploration of art and nature.
