Fragility of Frost
11:11
|
|||
The fire has been put out
Not by wind, or rain, or icy chill
But the flame is too bright, it snuffed itself
Unable to remain in this mortal coil
The Hearth is flooded
The heat drains from my veins
Into the void of self-deceit
Scorched fingertips burn
Blacken and rot away
While solace envelopes my mind
I want nothing more than to drift into
Unconsciousness
And embrace thine closing lids unfeeling
Darkness shrouds were embers smoldered
Unable to be relit in this futile place
This once sacred space
What shall I do when the night lays her blanket of velvet
Upon thine eyes?

The Howl and the Death
09:34
|

Zarathustra spoke
and with a whisper the earth crumbled to nothing
As clouds rage, fire and clover
And trees rend through to the root
She flies on sagewind
To westward home
Oh lovely hunter!
Sit with me a while longer
Of and for you, I must be
Stronger!
In death would you bear me on your back
To a sanctuary that in life we lacked
At least then we walked as one
But now I walk alone
Zarathustra howled
After saying her piece she took my heart
and my soul
and walked silently into the trees
Yet still I weep
