from walking on shards of glass
Hidden among the eggshells
You've thrown upon the ground
As you devour the embryos raw.

The structure is rotting in the eaves of your hallowed halls
Foundations cracked and sinking in the yearly summer thaw.

We need not lift a finger
But to guide the hammer's fall
How far will we go in hunger
When the meat's so tender and soft?
Technocratic illusions of grandeur
Are devoured by the famished moth.
Insalubrous attempts to control
As the collapsing tower rots.
