Cailleach crawls forth from the hills
Betwixt and between the sageroot and dirt
Lies her home in the frost and the mold
Decrepit wretch!

Her light does not shine
For starving hounds seek her out
Without rest
To bring her down
Cut short her breath
With foaming mouths
They seek to dine
On her flesh!

But still, robed in shadows she flies
And from the cliffs of Coire Bhreacan she cries:

"The arrogance that bears fruit from deciduous forests,
Assumed eternal greatness and wealth.
Behold the opulence of this world while the summer sun burns!

But oh, we await the winter
As leaves fall and boughs splinter
Holy regicide that the lowliest worms demand."

And smoke shall blot out the skies
as the smoldering summer sun dies

The crone is awoken from slumber
Invoking the storms and thunder
Teeth formed of rust,
The air that she breathes is tainted with ashes and dust

As waves roar higher and higher
Her rage tears mountains asunder
And the hunter's moon will rise
Her wolves will at last thrive
And feast on our legacy built of disgust
And formed by the lust of the broken supposed
"Magnificent man"
